Tom Schmidt

Thomas "Tom" Schmidt and his family, his wife Monica, their children, Emily, Joe, Erin and Ryan moved to Hanover Township in 1997. Most people remember Tom for his fervor in working with children through athletics.
John Rider

John Rider, along with his family, his wife Dana, daughters Rachel, Alison, and Erin, and his son Luke have resided in Hanover Township for several years and were involved in the community in so many ways. John coached soccer for BEAYC. His girls swim for the Hanover Swim Team. Dana and the kids were always number one. He had so much pride and love for his four girls and for Luke.
Joyce Baskerville

She was born in Shenandoah Heights, PA and was the daughter of the late James J. and Irene (Mariken) Carr. Joyce is the wife of Floyd C. Baskerville lll. Joyce was employed by Rockwell Transportation as a customer service representative since 1994. She was a 1969 graduate of McCann School of Business. Joyce enjoyed interior decorating, traveling and being with her family. Survivors: Joyce will be lovingly remembered by her husband Floyd Baskerville and son Evan C. Baskerville of Bethlehem, Hanover Township.
Timothy Link

Tim was a graduate of Liberty High School Class of 1985, and a graduate from the Culinary Institute of America. He was a member of Ss Simon and Jude Catholic Church and a member of IBEW Local 375. He worked for numerous local contractors doing electrical estimates and job supervision. Currently he worked for Westside Hammer Electric.Survivors: Sons, Colton and Jared and their mother Janice.
Karen Hlavaty

Karen Sue Hlavaty of Bethlehem passed away peacefully on September 12, 2015 at the age of 51. She is survived by her loving husband,Michael Hlavaty, of 21 years. They were married on September 24, 1994. Born in Washington D.C., she was the daughter of Louis and Beverly Resler. Karen deeply enjoyed life. From singing and dancing with her friends to sitting poolside while reading a book, she was always living in the moment. Above all, Karen loved spending time with her family. Throughout the entirety of her battle, she never gave up hope. She taught those observing what persistence truly looked like. Survivors: Surviving her are her sons, Brandon Hlavaty and Kyle Hlavaty, her husband, Michael Hlavaty.
Mike Hlavaty

Michael J. Hlavaty, 61, of Bethlehem, passed away on Friday April 13, 2018. Mike was the husband of the late Karen R. (Resler) Hlavaty who passed on September 12, 2015. Born in Bethlehem, Mike was a son of the late Joseph and Wanda F. (Slavinski) Hlavaty. Mike worked at Victaulic as a laborer in Forks Twp., and previously was an assembler for Mack Trucks Inc. of Allentown. Mike is survived by his two sons: Brandon and Kyle of Bethlehem, and his brother Joseph R. and wife Kathy of Williams Twp.
